On Thursday the 27th of October, The Hon. Harriet Shing – Labor MP Eastern Victoria Region, Minister for Water, Regional Development, and Equality and Denise Ryan, Labor Candidate for Gippsland South – visited Leongatha Secondary College and announced an election commitment to provide funding of $11.7 million to the College if re-elected.
Two of our 2023 School Leaders, Lily Hume and Chloe Goff, led our visitors on a tour of the school.
The funding would be used to upgrade and/or build new school facilities to provide for the current and expanding school community.
