Victory at Gippsland Finals for Leongatha Secondary College Table Tennis

Our Year 7 boys and Year 8 girls travelled to Traralgon for the Gippsland Regional Finals for Table Tennis on Thursday 27th of October. 

Both teams played high quality table tennis and had a great time competing with students from all over Gippsland. The girls squad only dropped one match leading convincingly to becoming Gippsland Regional Champions for 2022. The boys squad did not lose one game nor even one single set against the competition. Trent Beggs and Jesse Pearce both from year 7 were stand-out players showing that their years of table tennis training gained them a formidable advantage with the bat.

The Year 8 team will be heading to Melbourne on the 16th of November to compete at the State Finals. 

The year 7 team will be doing the same on the 25th of November.
