Student Wellbeing at LSC provides health and wellbeing support to all students. The team, with LSC staff and external services, coordinate and facilitate proactive education geared to support young people’s emotional, physical, and mental health across all year levels.

The Youth Access Clinic is open every Tues afternoon from. 12.30-4pm.

Nationally recognised days and events

The Wellbeing team also work with students, staff, and the broader community to promote Nationally recognised days and events such as:

  • R U OK Day
  • Mental Health Week
  • IDAHOBIT day
  • Bullying No Way Day
  • Dolly’s Dream

Wellbeing support includes

  • Communication and collaboration with students, parents, teachers, and principal class to support positive outcomes.
  • Short term counselling support
  • Risk assessment to determine if additional support is required - including safety plans.
  • Referrals to community support services, such as mental health professionals, family services and allied health services
  • Incident reporting
