The Leongatha Educational Precinct is a great community to be a part of and we have signed up to participate in The Push-Up Challenge 2021.
The event runs for 25 days, kicking off on Tuesday June 1st. The Push-Up Challenge aims to shine the spotlight on the 3,318 Australians who died by suicide in 2019 (latest year of data).
Whether you’re taking on the full 3,318 push-ups, 25%, 50% or 75% of the target, we’d love to have you involved in helping us #pushforbetter mental health this June.
Push-ups not your thing? Not a problem. Alternatives like squats and sit-ups are encouraged too. (You can complete the challenge as a team too!)
Through the event, the target number of push-ups per day varies to reflect a different mental health statistic. The app provides you with conversation starters and ways to help check in on your friends and family.
You log your push-ups on the app or website and learn about mental health along the way. You can also fundraise for mental health too, but that’s optional. (App released next week on Android and Apple)
Whether you create a team or join a team, we’d love you to join us. Click on the below to get involved.
