Year 11 VCE VM students had the opportunity to visit Schreurs Farm in Middle Tarwin and a robotic dairy at Terry Geary’s farm in Nerrena.
Students witnessed how technology is being used to grow and cultivate celery and leeks and learned about the ins and outs of how a robotic dairy operates. It was a fantastic opportunity to see how food is produced.
Thanks to Tony Lea from the Gippsland Tech School for arranging this excursion for our students.
