More than 90 Year 8 students from Leongatha SC participated in the launch of the 2022 Live4Life program on Monday 12th September. The Live4Life model aims to improve mental health literacy and increase mental health knowledge. It empowers young people to act as ambassadors for mental health, raising awareness of mental health issues among their peers and community.
Year 8 students spent the launch watching a video created by our crew members and learning about mental health. They participated in workshops and enjoyed some light refreshments.
Thank you to our Year 9 volunteer Live4Life Crew, Brandyn Clifford, Chelsea Close, Teagan Elliott, Jasmine Gurney, Alexandra Lawry, Hayley Poletti and Zara Snow.
These students organised and launched the event and will play a key role in promoting positive mental health in our community. The program will continue in Term 4.
