The year 7 Boys, Ethan Langstaff, Riley Hawken, Blake Thoonen, Jesse Pearce and Trent Beggs exceeded all expectations going into the State Finals for table tennis.
Up against players that compete on a national level the Leongatha boys showed grit and determination to come top of their pool.
Then playing some nail bitingly close and tense matches in the semi finals to place overall third in the state.
These boys punched well above their weight and displayed fantastic team work and overcame their nerves in playing and competing at such a high level. Congratulations.
