Nathan Skewes qualified himself for SSV Golf state finals a couple of months ago shooting 2 over par (9 holes) at Leongatha South golf course, a fantastic score against other students from around our area. On June the 6th, Nathan (Doz) played 18 holes at Yarra Yarra golf course – probably the best course he’ll get the opportunity to play, against 41 of the best golfers in senior (years 10-12) secondary schools. The kids in Dozer’s group were all just about scratch golfers. His current handicap of 27 was tested by both the course and the conditions. The school and Nathan’s parents are very proud of his achievements and look forward to seeing where he can go with his golf in the future. A great experience for Nathan, one that he will never forget.
