MUNA incursion

Congratulations to the following students who were selected for the Model United Nations Assembly (MUNA) as part of an online excursion based at Monash University in Clayton on Thursday, (26/8).
Seven students, demonstrating a great work ethic were involved representing the following countries: (Republic of Ireland) Chloe Stoops and Piper Goldsmith, (Haiti) Casey Treloar, Ariella Francis and Zara Gardener and (South Korea) Saxon Speed and Nelson McMillan
All students rated the day highly and appreciated the very difficult task that bodies like the United Nations undertake. Students were required to spend the day voting on an initiative associated with Zero Hunger. They needed to listen to other students (who represented countries) from around the state, create amendments to a resolution, sit through a caucus and then ultimately vote on the final resolution.
Thanks to Mr Box for organising such a wonderful incursion for our students.

Saxon Speed (South Korea)
Piper Goldsmith (Ireland)
