On Tuesday the 6th of September, LSC sent 47 students to the Newborough Athletics Track for the next round of Gippsland Athletics . We had a very successful day with many highlights. There were a number of students able to place high enough for a medal, with 15 students placing first and going through to the State Athletic Finals in Melbourne next Term.
At the end of the day, we were informed that our school had placed first out of all the other schools in Gippsland, which is an awesome achievement!! A big thank you to Mr Tarlac, Ms O’Neil, Zhi Xia and Archie for their help and amazing support on the day.
Overall it was a very successful day and our students did a fantastic job of representing LSC by showing exceptional sportsmanship in all of their events.
I look forward to seeing our students perform at the State finals.
