Next Monday we will be celebrating IDAHOBIT Day at LSC. IDHOBIT Day is the International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia and celebrates LGBTQIA+ people globally and raises awareness for the work still needed to combat discrimination. As a Respectful Relationships lead school, we stand together at LSC to combat any sort of discrimination at our school and within our community.

On Monday we ask that our young people show their support by wearing your brightest, most colourful accessories, such as – switching up shoe laces, a bright scarf, colourful socks and hats. Stand out from the crowd and show your support. At lunch there will be a variety of activities happening outside of the ECA. We will have an instax photo booth, pledge/support cards, make your own button badge stand and rainbow ice-cream for sale for $1. As well as rainbow friendship bracelets. All monies raised from the ice-creams will go to Headspace Wonthaggi to support their LGBTQUI+ youth support club.
