International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.
The day also marks a call to action, and a reminder to continue to improve access to health care, childcare, schooling, work and human rights for many Australian women, and those who do not have these rights or conditions all around the world.
