Leongatha Secondary College Year 9, 10 and 11 students were invited to attend a Senior Information Evening held in the Senior building last week ahead of the subject selection process for 2023.
Despite the wet evening, many families took the opportunity to explore and learn about the new Senior Secondary Reform and what the senior schooling years may look like for their young people.
Senior staff spoke on the new changes to the VCE, VCE-VM and Mathematics options for 2023.
Students and parents/carers were then treated to a mini subject expo where they could speak with faculty leaders about different subjects ahead of deciding on course structures for next year.
The next part of the subject selection process took part over the remainder of the week, with students and parents/carers attending a Course Counselling interview to discuss subject possibilities.
Subject selections open on Wednesday, 3rd August for all senior students.
