Join us on Friday 18 March 2022 for the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence (NDA). Australia’s key bullying prevention initiative celebrates 12 years of action, connecting schools and communities to find workable solutions to prevent bullying.
The theme for 2022 is Kindness Culture, especially online. By building Kindness Culture together, we can promote inclusion, respect and community belonging for all students in schools across Australia.
In 2022 the theme Be Kind Online encourages students to block content, report it and support each other if they see or experience cyberbullying. This video explains how to ensure that you are respectful when posting images online.
This year our precinct, Leongatha Primary School, Leongatha Secondary College and South Gippsland Specialist School, will be asking students to consider how they can help and support others who may be experiencing bullying at school.
Classes from all schools will make ‘Action Pledges’ which will displayed on the PAC Oval all day today.
