Yesterday 19 LSC students travelled to Sale to compete against the best swimmers from Gippsland at the Regional Swimming Sports.
The weather and atmosphere was fantastic, as were our results. LSC students won 14 individual events throughout the day and 5 relay events. All of these swimmers will represent LSC at the State Championships later this month. Of note were the 12/13 Yr old Freestyle relay who broke the Gippsland Regional Championship record by 3 seconds.
Out of all of the Gippsland schools in attendance, our college also won the overall championship.
A huge congratulations to all swimmers who took time out of their studies to represent LSC and thank you to all of our parents and carers, staff Mrs Tanya Chalmers and Stuart Bright, who timekept and assisted students on the day.
We will post all of the results once they come through from Regional Sports Victoria officials.
