Over two days this week, 17 VCAL students engaged in their City of Melbourne Exploration (overnight stay) as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award. The students worked in Investigation Groups to plan, organise and collaborate as they explored the areas of the Arts, Sports and Cuisine. Groups visited the MCG, The Lume, ArtVo, Queen Vic Market, ACMI, the Royal Arcade and many more locations across the city. Through these experiences, along with the other sections of the award, participants continue to build self-confidence, problem-solve, challenge themselves and learn to collaborate and contribute to team results.
