‘On Tuesday 11th of December, the Yr9 Outdoor Education class had the opportunity to run educational workshops on pollution for a group of Grade 5 Leongatha Primary School students. The workshops included visual displays, online quizzes and interactive dioramas, with each group of students presenting on a different form of pollution or solution to the issues our world is currently facing.
The feedback from our LSC students, the LPS students and all staff in attendance was extremely positive, with everyone saying it was a valuable experience. Our students thoroughly enjoyed the session and felt that they were contributing to a positive change in culture across the educational precinct. We are looking towards 2019 and how we can again run programs across the two schools to further strengthen the relationship between the student bodies and reduce our overall environmental footprint.’
